]]> http://thepolkadotcottagephotography.com/blog/?feed=rss2&p=281 0 Where Have I Been? http://thepolkadotcottagephotography.com/blog/?p=271 http://thepolkadotcottagephotography.com/blog/?p=271#comments Sat, 14 Apr 2012 01:54:56 +0000 Debbie http://thepolkadotcottagephotography.com/blog/?p=271 I didn’t disappear!  This past October, my family decided to make the plunge and build a home in Prosper, Texas.  We sold our Flower Mound home in January and moved into my brother’s home in Carrollton while our new home was being finished.  We finally moved to Prosper during mid-March.  We have been here for 4 weeks and finally getting settled in.  Boy do I never want to move again!

I’ve been taking my business slow these last few months due to the craziness, but I’m ready to jump back in!  One of the best parts of our move is that we turned our media room into a studio for me.  This is great for newborn sessions as well as little ones…Or if it’s just plain too hot in August for outdoor photos!!

 

Here are a few photos that I took in my new studio.  Two of my very sweet neighbors allowed me to borrow their kiddos for the morning to test out the lighting of my studio.  I love it!!
